BURNING PERMIT

Only burn tree limbs, brush, stumps, evergreen needles, leaves, and grass during daylight hours. Never burn demolition debris, construction materials, automotive parts, or household trash that contains plastic, rubber, foam, chemically treated wood, textiles, electronics, chemicals or hazardous materials. You are responsible for fire, smoke, or odors created from open burning and for damage that results from your fire. By signing this application you acknowledge and agree to adhere to the rules of the Taymouth Township Burning Ordinance. Permits are free.  They may be renewed after 14 days. Fires must be attended at all times.  If it gets out of control. immediately call 911. With unsafe burning, the fire department has the right to extinguish the fire.
